This deceptively spacious, three bedroom, three bathroom house (approx. floor area 130 sq metres), with excellent potential for rental, is located in the centre of the beautiful white village of Tolox, just a one hour drive from Malaga airport and only 45 minutes from Marbella and Puerto Banus. The busy market town of Coin is only 15 - 20 minutes away along the recently built Ronda road where you will find many shops and restaurants and a big and busy market each Saturday. There is a regular bus service from Tolox to Malaga, calling at Coin and surrounding villages..
The House
The house, which has been recently reformed, consists of three double bedrooms,
one with bathroom en suite. A further bathroom is on the first floor along with two
further double bedrooms; the other bathroom being on the ground floor. Downstairs
has a large sitting room / dining room and a study, or further sitting room. The
study could be used as a fourth bedroom as it has an adjacent shower room/toilet.
Telephone
and ADSL broadband are available subject to agreement with Telefonica, and satellite
TV is installed. Mobile telephones work perfectly in this area.
There is a very spacious
terrace which covers the whole of the top floor and has wonderful views across the
Sierra de las Nieves on one side and the village on the other. Also on the top floor
is a laundry room complete with washing machine and fridge.
The property is ideally suited to running a business as it is located in the main street in Tolox, just opposite the butcher. Recently it has been let to a real estate company, who have now relocated to Alhaurin.
Tolox is approximately 360m above sea level and at the foot of the Sierra de las
Nieves. The population of the village is approximately 3,500 and is increasing since
the completion of the new road from Coin. This new road has opened up the area as
an accessible and convenient living area amidst beautiful countryside and this is
shown in the increased value of the properties. A reservoir has been planned in the
large valley just outside Tolox.
The village contains the famous Balneario de Tolox,
the health spa where thousands visit during the summer months to inhale the beneficial
mineral properties from the natural spa which has proved to help asthma sufferers
and people with kidney and eye problems (see below). The Sierra de las Nieves is
a great attraction to walkers and has some fantastic tracks for quad bikers. The
entrance to the mountains is in the village. There are many shops and restaurants
and a market is held in the square once a week.
There is a local school, a library
and many leisure facilities including a large open-air swimming pool.
